Missy graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelors degree in Marketing in 2003 and from Westminster College with an MBA in 2008. She has over 15 years of experience helping business owners understand financial statements. She has worked in a variety of industries with an emphasis on startups and has a passion for numbers and for helping business their accounting.

Mike Davis

Blog Manager

Mike worked for 35 years as a pastor, supervisor, coach and consultant. Now retired he spends time writing, gardening, teaching, volunteering and grandparenting. At the age of 60 he started to remember his childhood sexual abuse and began active recovery. Out of his experience of both in-person and online Weekends of Recovery a treasured network of fellow survivors continues to grow, providing mutual support and encouragement. Coordinating the Beyond Survival: Still We Rise blog is one way he shares encouragement, hope and healing to other male survivors. Mike lives in Maine with his wife and two Labradoodles.

Eric has a background in the performing arts and computer graphics. From 2002-2018 he owned and operated a hatha yoga studio in Atlanta, GA. A four-time Weekend of Recovery alumni, Eric credits the workshops with enabling him to make the transition from survivor to thriver. Since Fall 2018 he has been helping MenHealing develop a brand identity, including a new logo and website. Eric writes poetry and lives in Oakland CA.

With up to 20 years of experience, Kenton previously worked in the child welfare system in New York City as well as a Forensic Social worker throughout the New York court system. He has been an adjunct lecturer at the graduate and undergraduate level in New York City and has a wide array of experience providing individual and group therapy to those with complex mental health needs in sex offender, parenting, and drug treatment programs.

Jordan has been working in sexual victimization survivor outreach for over 10 years. A three-time Weekend of Recovery alumni, Jordan began telling his story in partnership with the Ontario Police in Canada as part of their inaugural male victimization conference. Jordan continues to garner relationships and opportunities to work with many service and outreach agencies across North America.

Trisha has been working with non-profit organizations for many years. She serves as the Community Outreach Coordinator for MenHealing and has a long history with the Weekends of Recovery Program, as she has helped to administratively coordinate the majority of the weekends conducted over the past 17 years.

Jim, a founding member of MaleSurvivor, has been a practicing social worker since 1976. He is currently in private practice in Salt Lake City. He has worked with males in a variety of clinical settings: child protective services, residential treatment, in-patient hospitals, community agencies, and outpatient private practice.
