A native of Ogden, Utah, Debra Daniels, received her BSW from Utah State University in 1979 and her first employment was as a young social worker. She began working with children in foster care system, adoption and youth advocacy. This began her role for advocacy and speaking for those who voices were rarely valued.

Emiliana Diaz De Leon

After more than a decade of experience working for several domestic and sexual violence centers across Texas, Emiliano joined the Texas Association Against Sexual Assault in 2008, where he provides training and technical assistance on victim advocacy and prevention of sexual violence to SAPCS-PHHS Block Grant grantees around the state. In addition, Emiliano provides training and technical assistance on enhancing services to male survivors of sexual violence to individuals and organizations in Texas and around the country.

Albert Edwards III recently joined the MenHealing Board of Directors. He brings more than 40 years of Human Resources, Talent Management, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Anti-Racism, Social Justice, Leadership, and Organization Development experience to MenHealing. Albert focuses on helping organizations strategically transition to an Anti-Racism culture through whole-systems transformation processes.

Diana is a licensed clinical mental health counselor. She trained in feminist multicultural therapy at the University of Utah and worked at the Rape Recovery Center for many years, including six years as clinical director. She is certified in EMDR and The Work of Byron Katie. She has facilitated workshops on many topics including trauma response, shame resilience, listening skills, mindfulness, and self care.

For most of his life, Rob promised himself that he would never talk about being a survivor of childhood sexual trauma. He struggled daily with anxiety and felt like he had carried around a backpack full of rocks his whole life. All of that changed after attending several Weekends of Recovery beginning back in 2010. This experience has fueled a passion to bring the message of healing to other men.
