Join MenHealing and the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center (BARCC) for a Facebook Live Q&A on healing for male survivors of sexual trauma. Sharon Imperato and Jim Struve (members of the WOR/DOR Facilitator Team) will talk about what survivors can expect at two upcoming Days of Recovery (happening in June in Massachusetts), common barriers to healing, and more. Tune in a little after 3 p.m. (EDT) on Friday, May 17, on the BARCC Facebook Page   Question you would like us to address can be submitted in advance by e-mail to: communications@barcc.org

Recovery Events Update

Registration remains open thru May 31st for the Massachusetts Day of Recovery events: June 8th in Waltham, MA and June 9th in Boston, MA. These healing retreats are a collaboration between MenHealing and BARCC.

Both of these events are accessible FREE OF CHARGE for any male survivor who is a Massachusetts resident. Additional DOR events will be conducted in MA in 2020.

Registration remains open for the 2019 Advanced WOR that will be conducted at Alta, UT. on August 9th – 11th. This year’s theme is “Calming the Conflicts Inside: Tools for Self-Compassion and Healing.”

Registration opens on May 20th for the 2019 Alta Level 1 WOR (9/20 – 9/22).

Dates and locations for other WOR events in 2019 and 2020 are now available. Dates for additional DOR events to be conducted in MA during 2020 will be available soon.

We do not want cost to be a barrier for anyone to attend any of our retreats. 20 - 80% scholarship grants and underwriting discounts are available this year for both triple and double occupancy room selections at all Weekends of Recovery. ALL events have scholarships available; reducing tuition to as low as $160 for the entire weekend.

Facebook Fundraising Campaigns

If you have an up-coming special occasion in your life, consider conducting a Facebook Fundraising Campaign. Just invite your friends to make financial contributions in your honor by designating MenHealing as your selected non-profit organization for your special occasion. One recent Facebook Birthday campaign raised a total of $4,225 in contributions for MenHealing. This is an easy way for YOU to support MenHealing.
