Registration remains open until May 31st for the two Day of Recovery healing retreats scheduled for June 8th in Waltham, MA and 9th Boston, MA. ALL events have scholarships available; reducing tuition to as low as $160 for the entire weekend.

Farewell to a Long-Time Member of the Facilitator Team
We respectfully announce the retirement of Paul Linden from our WOR Facilitator Team. As a highly-skilled Somatic Educator, Paul has been a pioneer in developing groundbreaking approaches that enhance the healing process for survivors of sexual victimization. He has been a teacher, mentor, and core member of our Facilitator Team since our early years. More recently, management of Parkinson’s Disease has prevented him from being present at our WOR events. However, he has remained an integral member of our Facilitator Team, working behind the scenes to guide us in integrating his powerful techniques into our healing work. Paul will remain in the role of Facilitator Emeritus with MenHealing. He will also continue to conduct training workshops throughout the United States and Europe. We are deeply grateful for his tremendous contributions to our successful WOR retreats. THANK YOU PAUL for all that you have contributed to our work!
“Evening of Hope: Voices of Healing” is a new project area for MenHealing. These events will be conducted in local communities around the country to raise awareness about male sexual victimization and our WOR/DOR healing retreats. These events will be free to the public and will include a film about male survivors, followed by a panel of local male survivors plus audience Q & A. Our first event is scheduled for June 22nd in Seattle. Flier and outreach information will be available soon.
If YOU would like to work with MenHealing to schedule an event in YOUR local community, please contact Jim Struve.
MenHealing will continue to partner with Taking Back Ourselves in the “Night of Healing” events that TBO conducts in local communities. The next collaboration is scheduled for July 18th in Salt Lake City.
Jim Struve recently was a featured speaker at the “Invisible Faces” Conference in San Diego. He will be conducting 2 Plenary Presentations at the “Show Me A Helping Hand” Conference in Columbia, MO. in late June. He will also be conducting a workshop and participating in a panel presentation at the “SCRIPT” Conference in Los Angeles in July.
Video Project Updates
“Beyond Survival: Voices of Healing” features brief videos (2 – 4 minutes each) that highlight the healing journeys of male survivors. 5 videos are now posted and archived on the MenHealing website and at our YouTube channel. Thanks for YOUR help in circulating these videos to others you know who may be interested.
If you are a male survivor and would like to participate in this project, check the instructional video that provides more information about how you can submit material. Our Video Production Manager will format your material into a finished product. For more information or to discuss you interest in this project contact Jim Struve .
Thanks to each of YOU who made a financial contribution to MenHealing during April SEXUAL ASSAULT AWARENESS MONTH. We are committed to using your donations wisely.
We want to continue to expand our donor base. Please consider whether you can financially support our work in any way – small or large – with a one-time or a recurring contribution. Our goal is to build a large and dynamic community of financial donors.
…to the many recurring monthly financial donors to MenHealing.
