Jim Struve
WOR Executive Director

Jim Struve, LCSW has been a practicing social worker since 1976. He is currently in private practice in Salt Lake City. He has worked with males in a variety of clinical settings: child protective services, residential treatment, in-patient hospitals, community agencies, and outpatient private practice. 

Jim is a founding member of He was the recipient of the Richard Gartner Outstanding Clinical Services Award at the 2010 International MaleSurvivor Conference in New York City.

Jordan Masciangelo
Social Outreach Co-Manager

Jordan Masciangelo has been working in sexual abuse survivor outreach for over 10 years. A two-time Weekend of Recovery alumni himself, Jordan began publicly telling his story in partnership with the Ontario Provincial Police in Canada as part of their inaugural male victimization conference. After 25 of these award-winning conferences, Jordan's passion for sexual abuse awareness had flourished and he went on to join other support initiatives, becoming a keynote speaker at events and conferences across North America. 

Known for his gregarious personality and creative eye, Jordan continued to garner relationships and opportunities to work with many service and outreach agencies across North America.

Eric Jennings
Social Outreach Co-Manager

Eric Jennings
has a background in theatre, dance and computers but for the past 18 years he has been a yoga instructor and a yoga studio owner. When a sexual assault scandal erupted in the national yoga community, Eric made the moral choice to align himself with the women who had come forward with accusations, and he publicly disclosed his own history of childhood sexual abuse. A four-time Weekend of Recovery alumni, Eric credits the workshops with finally enabling him to make the transition from survivor to thriver. He lives in Oakland, California where he writes poetry and other interesting things.

Trisha Massa
Outreach Coordinator

Trisha Massa has been working with non-profit organizations for many years.  She serves as the Community Outreach Coordinator for MenHealing and has a long history with the Weekends of Recovery Program, as she has helped to administratively coordinate the majority of the weekends conducted over the past 17 years.      

David Evanoff
Video Production Manager

David Evanoff has been engineering and producing for over 20 years.  He is an award winning audio engineer for television and radio.  David has also composed award winning music for film and television, hundreds of jingles and music for special live events.  Want to hear some?  Go to the demo section of the web page.

David has worked on many films as sound editor, foley engineer, ADR engineer and mixer. Sound Designs Studios is equipped for all aspects of Film and Television post production work, including 5 & 7.1 surround sound editing and mixing.   David has been post audio editor and mixer on hundreds of television shows and documentaries.

Shar Wood

Shar Wood has been designing and maintaining websites and managing social media for 13+ years. She created and manages the MenHealing website.  She has also created and manages websites for several of our team members and other non-profit associations and organizations.  Email Shar

Heather Staley

Heather Staley graduated from Weber State University with a degree in Health Promotion/Education and minor in Biology in 2004. Professionally, she has worked as a consultant for medical providers providing accounts receivable/payable, bookkeeping and administrative management services since 1998.  Hired by Abacus Accounting & Bookkeeping in 2014, she expanded her skills and experience in small business bookkeeping/payroll, specializing in clients with multiple companies in varied business ventures.
