The mission of 1in6 is to help men who have had unwanted or abusive sexual experience live healthier, happier lives.  Their mission also includes serving family members, friends, partners, and service providers by providing information and support resources on the web and in the community.  1in6 provides a 27/7 online helpline, online support groups, useful information, trainings and webinar, and a collection of male survivor stories on their website.

Hank Estrada maintains a website to encourage, to support, and to demonstrate to survivors that healing is possible and that they can recover their life.   The website also informs, educates, and alerts individuals and communities about exposing sexual predators.

If you are a man who has been abused as a child, they offer free group counseling the third Tuesday of each month.  Call 760-346-4606 to register.  Creative Change Conference provides education, awareness, and support for male survivors annually.

Since 1995, MaleSurvivor has provided domestic and international resources and support to male survivors of all forms of sexual abuse in all various context: home, schools, religious institutions, military units, prisons, and human trafficking.  They are a community built upon a unique foundation of respect and mutual partnership between survivors and the professionals who work with them.  MaleSurvivor provides a life-sustaining internet-based discussion forum and chat room for survivors to connect and support each other.   They also provide vital resources enabling survivors to link to therapists, support groups, and other healing resources.  Their Hope, Healing, and Support Team provides a free confidential email resource to the public.

Protect Our Defenders honors, supports, and gives voice to the brave men and women in uniform who have been raped or sexually assaulted by fellow service members.  They seek to fix the military training, investigation, and adjudication systems related to sexual violence, system that often re-victimizes survivors by blaming them while failing to prosecute perpetrators.

Real Stories Gallery Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, facilitates contemporary storytelling and collective witness through the arts for the purpose of raising awareness and evoking social change.  Through artistic storytelling, Real Stories works to break the silence surrounding sexualized violence directed at boys, the international sex trade of boys, and human rights violations surrounding pediatric HIV/AIDS.

Based in Ottawa, ON, Men & Healing offers a wide range of individual and group services for men, including men who have been sexually abused.  Their training services on men’s mental health, trauma and recovery are provided across Canada, and in the USA in collaboration with 1in6, Inc.
