“Beyond Survival” Releases 9th Video
This week we release the 9th video in our “Beyond Survival: Voices of Healing” series that features the healing journeys of male survivors.
John’s story provides inspiration that profound life changes are possible even when healing from sexual victimization begins later in life.

Weekend/Day of Recovery Alumni Testimonials
An extensive compilation of articulate and moving Testimonials from WOR/DOR Alumni can be accessed at our website. Here is one of the newest submissions:
"…the WOR helped me see that I don’t have to let the past undermine or distort the present. …I [am now seeking to] arrive at a point where I feel compassion for myself, where I have a capacity to feel joy and freedom, to form and maintain positive, mutually supportive relationships, where I can experience emotional intimacy and trust. …I can now look forward to the future with optimism and a relish for life. Thanks to the WOR I can see that I am so much more than just a survivor." Ralph – Age 62 - 2019 Hope Springs WOR alumnus
We invite Alumni to submit your brief Testimonial for us to add to our growing collection.
Reminder that MenHealing is collaborating with local agencies to conduct “Evening of Hope: Voices of Healing” events in three different cities during November. Each program consists of a screening of the movie “Boys & Men Healing,” followed by a panel discussion with local male survivors and audience Q & A. Each event is free and open to the public.
Here is general information with a link to the printable fliers for each of these events:
November 14: 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.
University of Utah
Salt Lake City, UT
November 18: 6:30 – 9:00 p.m.
John Carroll University
November 21: 7:00 – 9:30 p.m.
Thanks to the coalition of co-sponsoring organizations in each of these three cities. And a special thanks to the WOR/DOR alumni who have so courageously volunteered to participate in the survivor panels at each of these events.
